The Islandrovers Story
I live on the island of Jersey, a beautiful little rock nestled in the Bay of Mont St Michel off the coast of France. I use the word 'nestled' with reference to our idyllic summer climate, but as any island dweller knows, it can also feel like we're clinging on for dear life during winter storms.
Ever since I was a child, I've loved old Land Rovers. These rugged utility vehicles are capable of infinite modification to suit the individual needs of their owners, and are the ultimate rebellion against a tide of soulless modern jelly-mould cars. I've come to realise that they compliment island life perfectly.
Over the years I've been lucky enough to collect a selection of these inspiring vehicles, and in sharing my passion for them and for my island home on social media, Islandrovers was born.
My ethos? It should never be simply about owning a Land Rover and keeping it in your garage - it's about using them and making every day an adventure. And whether I'm on my island, or further afield, I always try to take the scenic route. I'm humbled to know that so many of you enjoy what I share.
